Michelle worked tirelessly to win my case against a former employer. I was referred to her through family friends and upon meeting her for the first time, I immediately knew we had a connection and that she was the attorney for me and my case. She worked with me financially through a tough case and a rough patch in my life while I was unemployed, and she was there for me whenever I needed her. We were up against one of the "best" employer defense firms in the state and Michelle stuck to our strategy - no matter how long it took or how many times they gave us the run around. She is realistic in setting expectations and was 100% transparent through the entire process - working WITH me while working for me. This lawyer met with me in February, 2015, and promised to defend me against an employer. I signed a contract and paid her $5,000.00 as a retainer for her services. She cancelled meetings, did not show up for meetings her legal assistant booked, and then tried to pawn me off on her legal assistant. When I asked for an update on my case and a plan to win it, she accused me of being uncooperative and wasted three months of my time. I am waiting for my retainer and all the written information I handed her to win the case, as I was a legal assistant prior to being a teacher, and am also a notary public since the 1980's. Whatever you do, don't hire this one! She does nothing and has a huge back log of cases she obviously cannot handle.
